Selmer Bringsjord and Marc Destefano presented a talk on "Philosophical Machines" at the Javit Lecture Center of Stony Brook University on November 20th.
Bringsjord is a philosopher in the Cognitive Science and Computer Science departments at Rensselaer Polytechnic, and director of the Minds and Machines Lab. He is author of What Robots Can and Can’t Be, AI and Literary Creativity, and the novel Soft Wars.
